Laravel offload for SAP procurement (PR → PO → GRN)
At AeonX Digital, a Laravel application replaced day-to-day use of SAP’s procurement module for plant and supply-chain users — SAP stays authoritative, but workflows run in a custom portal to avoid SAP license fees for large user populations.
SAP integration
- Master data ingested from SAP S/4HANA (materials, vendors, and related masters).
- Purchase requisitions and purchase orders created in Laravel and posted to SAP.
- Real-time inventory displayed from SAP-backed APIs.
- Full procure-to-pay chain: PR → PO → GRN.
Operations & governance
- Complaint management with multi-level approval chains.
- RBAC across procurement roles and complaint handlers.
- Approval routing at each stage of the P2P cycle where policy required sign-off.
